 on Oct. 3 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Alton\, Illinois\, is a Mississippi River 
 city steeped in history and preserved architecture. The city is home to th
 ree historic districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places 
 — Christian Hill\, Middletown and Upper Alton. AALA invites you to tour 
 handpicked historic homes across these districts and take in the rest of t
 he city along the way! Tour is rain or shine and is $15 per person or $10 
 per person for AALA members. Kids 12 and under get in FREE!\n\n*Please sto
